After an exhaustive and detailed washing and decontamination of the painting, we moved on to the step of measuring the thickness of the painting, we were able to correctly identify the treatment to be used.
The surface and oxidized layer of the paint is removed throughout several polishing phases, making it possible to eliminate various imperfections such as water marks and incorrect washing, swirls, small scratches, among others.
This treatment restores the painting's clarity and reflective quality.
- Pre-wash treatment with neutral pH;
- Careful exterior manual washing;
- Chemical and manual paint decontamination treatment with clay bar;
- Chemical neutralization washing;
- Drying with a special microfiber towel;
- Inspection of the condition of the painting;
- Measurement of paint thickness with report and appropriate documentation;
- Partial paint correction with the RUPES BigFoot system (2 phases) (60-80% paint correction)
