LCD Leather Softener Oil

Softens and softens leather and skin that is hard and shrunken. It is used to make older, dry, hardened leather smoother before professional painting. It is water soluble and most suitable when leather has to be painted.

Always apply the oil sparingly. Adding more product to the leather does not mean it will become softer. In the end, the leather may be left with excess oil or fat.

LCD Leather Softener Oil softens the leather, but does not repair the fibers or poor stability of old leathers. It becomes more flexible, but not more resistant to tearing. Very old leather must be treated with care or replaced.

Instructions for use:

1. Mix 20% LCD Leather Softener Oil with 80% warm water.
2. Clean the leather with the milky mixture and let the product penetrate the surface.
3. The mixture can be applied with a sponge or cloth, or, in the case of porous leathers, it can also be sprayed onto the back of the leather.
4. Repeat if necessary. A double application is sufficient. Wait at least one day before the next treatment.
5. Leather that will be painted after oil treatment must be completely degreased with Leather Degreaser before dyeing. Wait at least a day between the LCD Leather Softener Oil treatment and the dye so the oil has time to penetrate the fibers. The leather will be as soft as if it were new, but it will be much improved and the risk of tears will be considerably reduced.
